A small coffee bar with the best view on the North Norfolk coast

We are a small independent coffee bar in the beautiful coastal town of Cromer on the North Norfolk coast. We serve freshly roasted speciality coffees and a small, carefully considered selection of pastries and cakes. Everything that we serve is sourced from local, independent businesses.

We first opened our doors in 2017 with a small family team. Our first year was a whirlwind; starting the business while still holding down other jobs.

It ended with a party on the promenade which became the catalyst for our North Sea Nights. The team and shop have grown massively since the early days but we haven’t lost our love for Cromer, our regulars and all the dogs they bring!

We completed a refurb in early 2020 when we remodelled the shop using wood reclaimed from Cromer pier and North Sea Nights has now become a regular institution bringing beers and late-night dancing to the promenade.

All the coffee we serve is roasted within a few miles of our shop. Our house blend; Roma, is a traditional Italian espresso blend. Easy drinking and great with milk.

We also have a guest coffee which we change regularly. We have been working with Norfolk Coffee Co in Holt who provide us with a wonderful array of different espresso blends and single origin coffees for those who enjoy something a little less conventional.

All the coffees which we serve are available to buy in 227g retail bags.

All of our packaging is compostable, biodegradable or recyclable. We offer a good discount for those people that bring their own reusable cups and sell our own branded Keepcups. We are proud to be a refill station, offering free tap water to anyone, customers or not, and we refuse to sell bottled water.  Our coffee grounds are saved and go back into our vegetable gardens.
